But I think my quest for the ultimate penguin outfit has come to an end.
Obviously I need this (penguin Kigu).

I wanted this (Rodarte for Target skeleton dress)... but it was sold out
everywhere seemingly instantaneously.


So instead I got this (Caged by Threadless). Ok ok maybe need is too
strong of a word, but I think it's pretty awesome. ;)

Tortoise

Kind of liking this tortoise shell effect bag from
ASOS (although maybe that "glowing from the
inside" effect doesn't come across quite like this
in real life).

Blue Suede Shoes

Winter, as much as I love you for big cozy sweaters, long wrapping
scarves, and a melange of coats -- my husband just counted today
an 11:2 ratio of my coats to his in our hall closet -- I am ready for
you to depart. Bring on Spring! These blue suede shoes would add
a fun pop of color and whimsy to practically any outfit.

omg is it weird that I keep seeing pom pons everywhere I look? maybe
they're stalking me? Marc Jacobs fall 2010 (left) calling out to DIYers
everywhere (iridescent pom pons $2.99/60 right).
