Shredded T

Some pics of my great shredded T, purchased from sarahhijuelos on Etsy. I don't know
how she did it, but she turned a plain old Hanes t-shirt into a work of art. :) Worn with
Old Navy gray tank, shredded leather cuff, and Old Navy Sweetheart jeans.

Etsy Seller of the day

I am loving these utterly romantic fashions from Etsy seller SarahSeven. Some days I think
maybe I would like to shop exclusively on etsy to support independent and up and coming
designers. If only I could know whether the clothes would fit before ordering, although
being able to do custom orders cuts back on a little of the guesswork.

More Etsy Goodness

I am in love with Kcoline's Etsy wares. They are kind of pricey, but for a one of a
kind handmade garment they're really not so bad. I would be a bit wary of buying
online and getting the right size, but it looks like she's located in Brooklyn so
maybe she accommodates in person fittings. Too bad I don't have any fancy dress
parties scheduled for New Years!

Etsy Art

Our apartment walls have been bare for about 2 months now and I am
on the hunt for something beautiful. I love these girl + bear prints from
Hidden Seek's "The Whimsical Art of Hidden Eloise..." What I can't
decide is which one I like best (right now I'm leaning toward the third
one).

More Random Etsy Items

I love the idea of etsy, but have yet to actually buy anything...
maybe one of these will be the lucky winner. All items selected
from the very useful Etsy gift guides.

Ginko trees are rather beautiful this time of year in Berkeley.
The leaves have all turned yellow, but haven't fallen to the
ground quite yet. Fun fact of the day: apparently the seeds
from female ginko trees are quite smelly (like rancid butter) so
if you're walking by a ginko and a foul odor is emanating the
tree must be a she. Ginko necklace.

Another hand painted item, Punk Grrl bracelet.

A beautiful hammered silver Wave Ring.

Holiday Shine White Peyote Cuff

Kitschy Cute!

Susie over at StyleBubble, recently pointed out these amazing hand painted shoes on etsy from NDEUR. You send the artist your shoes and he hand paints the design of your choice onto them. No worries about the shoe not fitting since you get to pick them out yourself!

These shoes are absolutely fabulous! They remind me a little bit of the Tokidoki LeSportsac bags that came out a few years ago. While the bags seemed a little young and a bit much for me (I would have to wear a really plain outfit to get away such a loud bag), I think on a shoe the effect would be somewhat lessened by being way down by the ground and out of your direct line of site. And, you get to own a piece of one of a kind art work! Very kitschy cute!
