Bandage Dresses
Lots of opinions on bandage (body con) dresses have been bandied about
recently. These were a huge fashion trend of the 80s and seem to be back in
style once again. Herve Leger has once again released a collection under his
own name and the celebrities have been flocking to them. I personally am a
huge fan and think they're fabulous if you have the bod to pull them off.
Here's a shot of Lindsey Lohan in what looks to me to be a Herve Leger dress
at the Cloverfield premiere (photo via perezhilton.com). Has anyone besides me
never heard of this Sci-Fi flick?
The architectural lines on the bodice of this blue Herve Leger dress are amazing!
I think this is my favorite out of all of the options I've seen. This red bandage
dress looks eerily familiar. I swear I've seen it on someone, but I can't for the life
of me remember who. The cap sleeves make it seem a little more conservative
than some of the other pieces and maybe even work appropriate, perhaps with
the right cardigan.
Two more options: Black halter dress, and one shoulder dress.
If you want to add a little shimmer into your evening, here is a gold colored
bandage dress and a less pricey alternative, although I think the cheaper
version maybe lacks some of the finish and styling of its more expensive cousin.

I'm afraid of the bondage dress--they don't hide much.
I think I like a dress to be a bit looser. Even Lindsay Lohan who's a skinny minny looks a bit odd in it. Can't hide those pesky organs!
Though I like the dresses on the models. Like the red one and the gold one. I feel like it's just the side view that bothers me, but I don't know why.
But I also don't have much fashion sense. :)
