For dinner this evening I roasted a chicken using a slight
modification of my mom's 5 spice chicken recipe. This usually
goes into a chinese chicken salad recipe, but I served it with
roasted potatoes and green beans instead. It turned out quite
well and is very very easy.
1 1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp sugar
1 Tbsp soy sauce
2 Tbsp oyster sauce
1/4 tsp five spice powder
1 tsp dry mustard
2 Tbsp sesame oil
Spread on chicken and whatever veggies you like. Roast at 350
degrees for 1.75 hours.
