Night on the town

Saturday night was all about trying new things and visiting under the radar places.
We started the night out at a little vegetarian restaurant called All about Herbs.
They've just recently opened and don't even have their own space yet. The
restaurant location hosts the Paris Cafe by day and All about Herbs in the evening.
They don't even have a sign (well other than the one that reads The Paris Cafe). The
food is amazing, very carefully prepared and chock full of herbs of course. It was a
nice change to actually be able to eat out while still eating healthy. I especially
recommend the crispy rice salad pictured above.

After dinner we headed over to Bourbon and Branch, a former speakeasy, where
the cocktails are strong, but yummy and the ambiance reads 1920s. You can step
through a door hidden in a bookcase to reach the library or make a reservation in
the main room for a booth. With your reservation you receive the bar's address
along with the password of the night, which changes daily. A bit gimmicky, but
also kind of fun!

Unfortunately I forgot to take an outfit picture, but I was wearing a black long sleeve
shirt, a knee length black and white polka dotted skirt, fishnets, and my Marc by
Marc Jacobs spectator heels which I thought was fairly appropriate for the vintage
feel of the place.
